Maddie Abdalla studied Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on cinematography through a documentary lens. Throughout college, Maddie grew her film and photography skills with various internships for various companies and organizations including the National Parks Service, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and award-winning media agency, Bandolier Media. These experiences gave her insight on not only her technical skill, but navigating social media content creation and commercial work with clients and marketing teams. Maddie's biggest achievement in college was being honored as the first director chosen for an undergraduate documentary thesis short film in over 10 years at the University of Texas at Austin. This film would go on to showcase at multiple film festivals across the country including the Denver Monthly Film Awards, and the San Antonio Film Festival. 

Since graduating in 2024, she has focused her professional career in social media content creation for various brands including the Downtown Austin Alliance, Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, and Indie Meme Film Festival. Maddie's passion for Documentary storytelling is not lost. She is happy to announce her participation as a founding member of Working Tuesday Fellowship LLC, which is a film production house with an emphasis on documentary stories. Their debut feature film documentary is set to premiere in 2027.
